Marklin Fall New Items Previews and New Starter Sets

Marklin has sent us a preview of two new special items that will be relaesed as Fall New Items in the coming month or two.  First up is Marklin 26800, a factory weathered set including a Swedish DM3 heavy electric locomotive and 12 ore cars (with loads).  Next is 31031, a set of factory-weathered BR52 steam locomotives, one with a tub tender and one with a condensation tender.  These are available to order now.

Marklin has also announced two new starter sets for the North American market - Marklin 29150 is a basic digital starter set with a Class locomotive, two cars, digital controller, and a loop of C-track.  Marklin 29322 includes a Class 81 Steamer, 3 cars, a loop of C-track with a passing siding and a digital controller.  They make great holiday presents!   Starter Sets always sell out around the holidays so order these now while they last.  Delivery is expected in late September (pricing will be posted soon).
