According to my records, I've been a customer of Euro Rail Hobbies for more than a decade. It was Walter who introduced me to Maerklin Digital back in 2002 when I bought the handsome Bavarian mallet BR 96 in ochre livery. Other locomotives were to follow; Viessmann catenary, building kits, trackage, electronics--and, gratefully, spare parts! Walter and his splendid crew can supply all the trains and accessories a model railroader could want. Like many in the hobby, I roam about websites, and have had other sources before I discovered EuroRail Hobbies, but for me ERH is the very best in service, in giving advice--and in price, even with the international transaction fee the banks tack on. The website is superb, and I visit it regularly. What it comes down to is trust--Walter Menzel, family and crew, are merchants and human beings you can trust.

I just took delivery on my first order from ERH, and both the sales price and service were excellent. I greatly appreciate the fact that I can order from a Canadian importer and pay only 1/3 (!) the premium postage American importers rather unreasonably require, a savings on this single coach order of some C$20.00. I look forward to doing more business (just made two 2010 new product reservations) with ERH and would commend them to all.

For many years I have ordered from Walter and Jan and never had an issue with packing and delivery. All the items ordered that where present at the store, where shipped within days. Some back ordered items took a long time due to factory delays. That is not ERH's fault. I have been very pleased with ERH customer relations. They also research technical issues when needed and contact the factories directly when necessary. Great people for a great hobby.

I was needing some scenery materials and trees for my N scale layout ,as getting them locally is hit and miss and many of the ones I`ve seen online are either kinda poor in quality or very expensive. I was on one of the Euro sites (Busch perhaps) and Euro Rail Hobbies came up in the dealer section ,so I decided to have a look. Well.....am I ever glad I did, as I found exactly what I was looking for as well as N scale vehicles and Preiser figures...BONUS !!! I placed my order via the website and 4 days later my doorbell rang ,it was the mailman with a nice large box in hand !!! I was absolutely shocked that my order had already arrived from BC to MB..WOW ! All my order was in place,well packed and in perfect shape. If a company wants my business and money ,all they have to do is follow the model EuroRailHobbies has set forth ,as they obviously know what customer service is all about as well as I was contacted about the progress of my order. I also love the way they have their website set up,it makes it so absolutely easy to see what they have in each category and order.They also seem to have real time inventory status and tell you if items are backordered.I also like their log in feature to tell you order status etc. I noticed they have a lot of items on back order that can be ordered for customers ,I will have to confirm this on my next order,as there were some items I wanted. All in all ,it sure is nice to have a company located in Canada that I can order from, as I sometimes need to order from the USA ,and although I realize prices are in US dollars at Euro Rail Hobbies ,shipping and sometimes customs and long wait times can add up very very quickly when ordering from the US. So I don`t mind paying in US, as I know that`s the price of doing business when dealing with European companies and the Euro dollar. So, after this long winded write up ,I just want to conclude by saying I will be ordering from this fine company again, as I have the most confidence in the way they do things and treat their customers. I must say though, it`s probably a good thing I model in North American N scale locomotives and rolling stock, as I would probably go broke if they stocked those items...LOL Keep up the great work Euro Rail Hobbies !! I model European N guage and have just received my latest order in perfect condition as always. It takes no more than 6 days for my orders to arrive here in Melbourne. I can highly recommend Euro Rail Hobbies for excellent service not only for the models but also for sorting out my email issues. Thanks everyone! If you are looking for European rail models then I do not think that there is any better place than ERH. Back to surfing the site - something that I do almost every day. I will order some more soon.
