What is a Wish List?
A Euro Rail Hobbies wish list allows you to save and edit a personal
list of items from our site and share it with others. It can be used
simply to keep track of items that you are considering purchasing
or it can be used as a list for gift-giving occasions such as birthdays
and Christmas. By setting up a wish list for the people buying you
gifts you can let them know what you are interested in and make it
easy for them to find the items and order them directly from our site
- otherwise they may not know what a "Fleischmann DRG Mitropa
Dining Car" is or where to buy it and you may end up with a month's
worth of black socks instead :)
How do I start a Wish
List?
To create your own wish list, simply browse our catalog and add items
you are interested in to our on-line order form. When you are done,
instead of checking out, click the 'create new wish list' link on
the order page. You will then be asked to enter your e-mail address
and choose a title (i.e. "Dad's X-mas Train List") and password
for your list and that's it - you will then be taken to your own private
Wish List page.
How do I add more items
to my Wish List?
To add items to your list, add them to the online order form as you
did when you created the list. When you are done, click the 'add to
existing wish list' link on our order form page. You will then be
prompted for your e-mail address and password before the items are
added.
How do I send others to
my Wish List page?
To let others know about your wish list, go to your list page (you
can login on this page or login by adding new items to your list).
At the bottom of your list page you will see two options. You can
choose to send an e-mail to the person directly from our site with
a proper link directly to your list OR your can send/give them the
login information displayed on the page. When a 'guest' views your
list they will only be able to view the list and will not be able
to remove or add items.
Can I use the Wish List
as a Gift Registry?
Our wish lists are not currently set-up to remove items from the list
or mark them as 'filled' automatically when someone orders the item
as a gift for you. However, you could mimic this functionality by
giving out your password to the list. This would allow people to login
and remove items from the list when they have purchased them. Otherwise
we do not recommend giving your password out to others.
Do you keep my list forever?
Wish lists are automatically removed from our system after 6 months
of inactivity. Each time you come back and add a new item to your
list, the date gets reset to 6 months from the current date.
Can I have multiple lists?
You can set up more than one list under the same e-mail address by
choosing a different password for each list. In exception cases, we
reserve the right to limit the number of lists per user.

E-mail us at webmaster@eurorailhobbies.com
and let us know what e-mail address you used to create the list -
we will e-mail your password to you within 48 hours.
Uh-oh, something is broken!
If you have any problems with a wish list or get an error message

and let us know what happened.
