Who and what are we? Euro Rail Hobbies & more is a family-owned business specializing in European Model Railroads and offering over 40 years of experience to our customers. We are located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada (45 minutes from Vancouver and less than a kilometer from the US border) but ship products worldwide. To date, we have shipped products to over 60 countries around the world!

We are proud of the reputation we have gained over the years as being a company that is known for excellent customer service and great pricing! We maintain a huge inventory of products and any items not in stock are usually available within a few weeks. Our goal in building this website was to make your on-line shopping experience as fast, easy, and FUN as possible. We are continually trying to improve and update our site by keeping it up-to-date with all the latest news, adding new on-line manufacturer catalogs and useful features like our wish lists and advanced search engine.

Personal History - I have enjoyed the privilege of being involved in model railroading for over 40 years now. During my childhood, I had the good fortune to be part of Canada's largest hobby store, which carried full lines of model trains from around the world. It was during that time that I learned and appreciated the incredible quality offered by European model railroads and specifically Marklin.

Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge in building and creating model railroads. This has turned into a tremendous asset when mentoring beginners into the model railroading field and those just being introduced to Marklin or other manufacturers. It was with this background that I founded EURO RAIL HOBBIES & MORE in 1993. Since then we have prospered and continue to grow each year.

Our Store - Our continued growth led to our April 2003 move to our new store. We have modeled our new store on a turn of the century country train station. Though we are not quite finished with the final touches, it’s been a wonderful surprise to all our customers who can visit us in person (many say its construction resembles the historic CPR station in nearby Port Moody BC). With the Vancouver area being a world class tourist destination, we have visitors stopping by from all over the world.
