The first change you may notice is that you can now hover your mouse over any of the thumbnail images on our site for a second to get a much larger preview image of that product. This allows you to scan our catalog pages and view detailed images without having to click through to the products 'detail' page in order to see a large image. This works on every catalog page of our site RIGHT NOW! The second feature we have added are EXTRA LARGE product images (at least 20% larger than our regular images) on our product detail pages. Look for the new red 'Click to Zoom' button on our product photos that we have extra large images available for. We don't have extra large images for all of our catalog right now but we will be gradually updating our images throughout our site as high quality images are available from the manufacturers we carry. What are the features of the update? In addition to the programming of routes, the update also includes a connection for the s88 feedback module to provide feedback on operating status, along with connections for digital devices of the predecessor generation, 6021 Control Unit as well as the 6015/6017 Booster. Furthermore, from now on the Central Station will also include push/pull train control. It will also be possible to activate the stop command for the locomotive and the function for brake squealing via a soft key located directly on the touch screen monitor. The Central Station has also expanded back-up functions: Thanks to storage capability on the computer, user settings and data can be backed up and read back in. How do I send my Central Station for updating? Customers in the US and Canada should download the upgrade request form at the Marklin USA web site (Marklin has not posted this yet - link coming soon!) and follow the instructions for mailing their Central Station to Marklin. While you are responsible for shipping costs to Marklin, a $10 coupon, valid on any Marklin product purchased at any Marklin dealer in North America will be included with the return shipment.
