In the 1920s and 1930s, Heinrich Lanz AG was Germany's leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery and had already entered the production of farm tractors in the 1920s. At that time, agricultural tractors with single-cylinder glow-head engines were produced with great success under the name Lanz Bulldog. The name Bulldog, which quickly became synonymous with the tractor in Germany, came from the fact that the shape of the Lanz glow head corresponded to the head shape of an English bulldog. Together with a contemporary VW T1 Lanz service vehicle and the three scale Lanz mechanics, this set brings life to any tractor collection.
