The model has a marker light which functions already at low frequency currents. However it shines only in one direction in a constant quality. If the train travels in the opposite direction the red light goes out automatically.

The 4-axle standard corridor coaches were delivered around 1930 and between 1938 and 1939. During the course of the construction, the heavy riveted design of the coaches was abandoned and engineers decided for a lighter welded design. This made the wagons about two tons lighter. But still, a larger number of these express train coaches made it into the vehicle fleet of the German Federal Railways.
