2 figures with paragliders

In 2017 we are celebrating a small anniversary: In 1997 NOCH launched the first figures on the market and in the meantime our product line has grown considerably. By now, we offer more than 250 different figure sets and on www.modellfiguren.de even individual figures. This is no small feat.

The »Paraglider« model figure set contains two figures with one paraglieder each for the 1:87 model scale. The figures are hand-painted and certainly a highlight on any model railway layout.
One of the two men wears a bright blue shirt, and a brown jacket, a pair of long dark grey pants and bright grey shoes. He holds on to the paraglieder's ropes with both hands and is preparing for the take-off. The yellow and blue paraglider is still on the ground.
The other men has a orange-coloured paraglieder and is already on his way down into the valley. His outfig consists out of a green jacket, a pair of bright grey pants, and black shoes. He wears a grey helment on his head for safety reasons.

Paragliding is the act and sport of gliding through the air with the help of a special parachute call paraglider. The pilot is in a harness connectet to the paraglider with ropes, usually in a sitting position. There are several different variations of paragliders and paradglidgin, including motorized paragliders. (Source: Wikipedia).
