Since 2017, the CD Vectron locomotives (193 289-298) have been used for international express trains, mainly on the EuroCity routes from Prague to Berlin/Hamburg/Kiel and to Budapest. In the year 2021, the CD purchased not only their first own Vectron, but also rented six further locomotives from the Slovakian leasing company Rolling Stock Lease (RSL). These received a different livery to those leased by ELL. In addition to the CD logo, one quarter of each side is grey and features a clearly-distinguishable QR code. Each locomotive advertises a different CD product. The 193 696 advertises CD Bike (bike rental).
