HO Scale AC Diesel Locomotives

Prototype: The Snow White Express with a NOHAB-locomotive and four transport wagons according to the authentic Swedish prototype from the Epoch III/IV.

Model: The fairy tale freight consists of eight legendary, historic Volvo 1800 ES estate-coupes (also designated as Snow White’s Coffin) and is transported respectively in special automobile glass containers. The seven dwarfs are represented through 7 silver Volvos and Snow White herself through a pink Volvo.

JUICY: The pink Volvo was designed after Marilyn Coles prototype from the Playboy magazine in 1972. In this issue, Marilyn Cole was Playmate of the Month and as a PR-gag she received a pink Volvo, the Snow White’s Coffin. In 1973 she was elected Playmate of the Year. The Volvo is now owned by a collector from Holland, but is repainted red.

For INSIDERS: The cart-horse of the Snow White Express is a NOHAB diesel locomotive TMY 102 of the Tågåkeriet I Bergslagen AB (TÅG AB). It was first constructed in 1957 by NOHAB as MY 1128 for the Danish State Railroad. In 1994 it came back to Sweden. Wheel arrangement: (A1A0' (A1A)'. Diesel Electric drive train, 1950hp, 133 km/h. The NOHAB locomotive draws four uniform pocket wagons according to the UIC standard, type Sdms 832 of the Swedish Railroad (SJ).

The Märklin train formation: chassis and coachwork of the locomotive made of metal. With digital decoder and controlled high performance 5 pole motor and sound generator. 3 axles powered. 4 traction tires. Conventionally operated head light, digitally switchable. Signal horn as well as acceleration delay and deceleration delay switchable with control unit or systems. Mobile snow plough with integrated coupler pocket. Length over buffers 20.5 cm. Frame, ground and loading trough made of metal. Special bogies in low architecture. Many seperately applied details. Load fixtures adjustable. Loaded with two special containers for a secure transport of valuable passenger cars. Length over buffers 18.9 cm respectively.

Length of the train 96.5 cm.

Eight models with the finest details and authentic varnish/prints according to the prototype Volvo 1800ES estate coupe of 1973, nickname: "Snow White's Coffin". Each model individually set in the glassy containers.
