Translated Description from LENZ:
Prussian compartment cars - the prototype
While the passenger cars were exclusively two-axle vehicles, three-axle vehicles were also built from around 1880, which were characterized, among other things, by running smoother. After the nationalization of the railways in Prussia, the so-called standards came into being, rules for the construction of rail vehicles, which also affected passenger cars. The three-axle compartment cars are built according to these standards and were mainly intended for use in passenger trains. Wood was still the predominant material for the first models, but steel construction was used at the beginning of the 20th century. At the same time, kerosene lighting was gradually replaced by gas lamps.
Prussian compartment cars - the models
The Prussians are produced in different versions: two 1st and 2nd class carriages each (B3 and C3) with different company numbers and with and without a brakeman's cab and the matching Pw3 Pr 11 baggage car. All models in DB and DR Version and for fans of Era 2 also as a DRG variant. In addition to the Lenz-typical standard equipment, the cars impress with their excellent detailing and the perfect lettering.
