Translated Description from LENZ:
New edition with effect!
The models not only have different company numbers, but also a nice light effect: when the interior lighting is switched on, the light flickers like the neon tubes with starters used to. They don't all come on at the same time, each flickering for a shorter or longer time until they finally did their job of glowing. Each car already has its own switch-on effect based on its serial number.
This effect is programmable, which means you can assign an individual sequence to each car and also set an individual time delay. The little film gives an impression.
Note on the new editionsWe were so pleased with how the great light effect works that we didn't discover an error in the printing templates for two types of cars in the new edition in time. Therefore, the company numbers for the new cars 41220-03 and 41230-02 are identical to the company numbers of the previously delivered cars 41220-01 and 41230. The other new editions have new company numbers!
Conversion car 4yg(e) - the prototypeAt the beginning of the 1950s, the DB fleet consisted mainly of two-, three- and four-axle Reichsbahn wagons. Renovation and expansion were not yet feasible due to a lack of sufficient raw materials and capacities. Therefore, the stock of around 20,000 wagons was first modernized with the available means: the result was the so-called conversion wagons. From 1957 the 2nd class carriages B4yg were put into service, the 1st and 2nd class carriages followed a year later as the AB4yg. The first cars still got gooseneck bogies, later the Minden-Deutz design was used. The last 4yg were only retired in the 90s. Incidentally, the "e" designates the version with electric heating.
We bring all three variants of the conversion wagons with electric heating:
The Lenz Spur 0 passenger cars are as true to the original as possible and have, among other things:
