Replica of an ex GDR water tower type: Aquaglobus AK 100-18 made of 3-D rigid foam building material. Has a realistically simulated aluminum ball-shaped top and door at the base of the plastic mast (made of steel in the original). The Hungarian Aquaglobus were usually erected in rural areas near agriculture production cooperatives (LPGs) to irrigate theirs and other farmers’ fields. Today, you can see them near cities and towns and, therefore, can be universally used in a layout. In gauge TT, the size of the model matches the type AK 200-24 water tower.
Size: 285 mm high, diameter of ball approx. 78 mm.
