The first Wrttemberg beer cars were freight cars with two end platforms
The design of the beer cars was oriented on the construction of the respective
covered freight car. The first Wrttemberg beer cars had two end platforms
and a 3.6 m wheelbase. These cars were built for the K.W.St.E and were used
as the state's own beer cars. Later, all beer cars of the state railway were
sold to the breweries and put out of service as private cars. Three beer cars
from 1862 with a 3.6 m axle-base were sold to the Gsele brewery in Tbingen
and Leibinger in Ulm.
