For many years, the Erdal brand has stood for reliable shoe care and high quality. With its products, Erdal helps to clean and protect shoes and preserve their shine. The "Erdal frog" has been the symbol of the brand for over 100 years. While the frog was initially green, in 1919 it was given the royal purple color. To this day, the well-known Frog Prince is of great importance to the Mainz-based family business Werner & Mertz. Since 1917, the amphibian has been enthroned on the frog tower on the factory premises and is considered one of the oldest monumental neon signs in Europe.
