Prototype: The TGV POS is a French TGV train currently under testing. 8 TGV Reseau single-deck carriage cars combine with power cars that provide over 12,900 horsepower under 25kV load. This train has attracted alot of attention for recently breaking the land speed record for all regular rail trains, hitting a top speed of over 357 miles per hour--making it the fastest train running on conventional rails!
Model: Ten unit high speed train TGV P.O.S. (Paris - Ostfrankreich - Stuttgart) composed by two front end locomotives (one powered), seven passenger coaches and a bar-lounge coach. This train operates multi-nationally between France and Germany. The set includes ballasted track for model display. This version is without the 6-pin NEM 651 digital plug; metal chassis, full interiors, LED bi-directional lights on both locomotives, Digital ready with soldering points, short coupling between cars, 5-pole motor with flywheel, length: 1115mm.
