Transall C160D LTG 63 1:87
Developed and produced by the German/French consortium TRANSporter ALLianz, exactly 214 examples of the Transall C-160 were delivered to the air forces of France, Turkey and Germany between 1965 and 1985. Designed as a tactical transport aircraft, the Transall has been replaced by the Airbus A400M since 2013. The type designation C-160 was composed of the mission purpose - C for Cargo - and the Transall’s wing area of 160 m2.
The Schuco metal model of the C-160 has a wingspan of 460mm and an opening tailgate.
