Although their loading weight was lower than that of the newer Gm and Glm cars, Bavaria could not do without the older G-cars. Especially when transporting lighter general cargo, e.g. the products of the extensive glass industry in the Bavarian Forest, the limited load-bearing capacity did not play a role. Thus, after 1912, the older cars were also given the reddish-brown paint job and were classified in the newly created "Regensburg" class district. All wagons with a load weight of less than 15 t were gathered here.
