HO Scale Trucks Buses and Misc Vehicles

"Come in, the performance begins..." The last props have been delivered and are now standing at the side entrance of the large tent. Circus Busch is also closely linked to a long history of ups and downs. After the death of Fritz van der Heydt, the foster son of the circus founder Jacob Busch, the company came under the trust administration of the city of Magdeburg in 1951. In 1960, "Busch" was one of the founding companies of the "VEB Zentral-Zirkus", together with "Zirkus Barlay", which "Zirkus Aeros" joined just one year later. In 1961, a technical restructuring of the "Circus Barlay" also led to the creation of a new travel company under the name "Olympia", which played in smaller towns. In 1968, "Circus Olympia" was renamed "Berolina". In 1980, the "VEB Zentral-Zirkus" was renamed the "State Circus of the GDR". After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, the continuation of the State Circus ended and it was assigned to the Treuhandanstalt.
Without further ado, the Treuhand split the circus companies into four individual limited liability companies, Aeros, Berolina, Busch and Circ-Commerz. As early as August, the once so successful "Busch Circus" had to cease performances. Gradually, the others followed suit. A once very successful circus era was "buried". Reason enough to erect a monument to this circus in the form of lovingly designed models - very special "memorabilia".
