In 1923, Strasenbau-Actien-Gesellschaft Niederlahnstein (Busch Automodellen press release February 2022 page: 6 Strabag for short) was founded. Just six years later, the company employed around 1,400 people and soon relocated its headquarters to Cologne. Today, Strabag is active throughout Europe and also has major projects in other countries.
