IFA W50 MK5 year of manufacture 1969
In autumn 2021, the new dump truck based on the W50 all-wheel drive chassis will be used. In initially two versions with high and low pressure tires, the range of W50 superstructures is further expanded with this new design. Originally developed in the Berlin Adlershof special vehicle plant, the dump truck trough was presented at the Leipzig Trade Fair in 1969. The vehicles were then finally manufactured in Dessau by the rationalization company of the public utilities. Matching the sample vehicle at the Leipzig trade fair, the first color variant is designed in gray with a red chassis.
Due to the universal application possibilities in the construction combines, in the NVA or in agriculture, this structure is also an addition to the model range. Individual dump truck bodies were even built onto the L60 chassis.
