6 Figures with snowboards
In 2017 we are celebrating a small anniversary: In 1997 NOCH launched the first figures on the market and in the meantime our product line has grown considerably. By now, we offer more than 250 different figure sets and on www.modellfiguren.de even individual figures. This is no small feat.
There are already several »Skier« in the NOCH product range. In order to extend on the business of the ski resorts, now there are also »Snowboarder«. This means the winter can finally come to the model railway layout once more.
The model figure set contains six figures for the 1:87 scale, all of which are riding theirs snowboards in a large ski resort.
The outfit consits out of winter clothing in a lot of different colours, in order to make sure the snowboarders can be seen amidst the snow. Most of the figure also wear a safety helmet and ski googles.
A snowboard is a board-shaped winter sport utensil that allow gliding on the snow. The snowboarder is positioned sideways to the direction of the track on the board. Since 1998, snowboarding is part of the Olympic Games. (Source: Wikipedia.)
