N Scale Steam Locomotives

Prototype: Union Pacific Railroad (UP) class 4000 "Big Boy" heavy freight steam locomotive. Version of the locomotive with road number 4013. The locomotive looks as it did around 1950.

Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It also has controlled high-efficiency propulsion. 8 axles powered. Traction tires. The locomotive has a smoke unit. The headlights change over with the direction of travel. They and the smoke unit will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free, warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. The locomotive has articulated running gear to allow operation on smaller curves. The locomotive has Boxpok wheels. The minimum radius for operation is R2a (261.8 mm / 10-5/16").
Length over the couplers approximately 25.3 cm / 9-15/16".
