This HO Scale Brekina 1975 Setra S 140 ES Bus is based on the prototypes that could be seen all across Europe. The Setra S 140 ES was a successful intercity bus that was similar to the S 130 S, but with dimensions that met the specifications for a standard intercity bus. The name Setra comes from the German word selbsttragend, which means self-supporting. These Setra buses were manufactured at the Mercedes-Benz engine plant in Mannheim between 1974 and 1984. This bus model features a detailed injection-molded plastic body with fine decoration, interior, window glazing and chrome-plated parts as appropriate.
