The PIKO Expert model is characterized by the finest engravings, plastic fan replicas as well as a highly detailed roof design and small-scale bogies. Thanks to its high weight and a perfectly coordinated drive concept, the locomotive has high tractive power, which is further optimized by the factory-integrated digital decoder. The model is rounded off by the clean, prototypical paintwork and the elaborate printing. The model has a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker ex works. The model bears the “fits mfx†quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Marklin digital centers, a new quality mark fits mfx was introduced together with Marklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx test and have passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed carry the fits mfx quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx†logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx.
