The dried stalks that are left over when grain is harvested are called straw. It is pressed into bales to make it easier to transport and to save space. In agriculture, straw is used as feed and bedding. But it is also used as insulation in construction, fuel or raw material for huts, mats and baskets. The pack contains 36 model straw bales, each 0.5 cm x 0.8 cm x 1.2 cm in size.
