For the routes already electrifi ed the Swiss railways urgently required new locomotives at the beginning of the Twenties. 60 0f the Ae 3/6II were supplied by MFO Oerlikon to the SSB. They had an output of 1470 kW at a top speed of 90 km/h. The last machines were withdrawn from service in 1977. Model of the SBB-Historic museum machine.
