Prototype: HOCKTIEF is Germany’s largest construction company, and one of the market leaders on an international scale. The Deutsche Bahn AG contracted HOCHTIEF in 1998 to build the new ICE train connection between Nurnburg and Ingolstadt. The company already did its share for the recently opened ICE train connection between Cologne and Frankfurt, including 12 bridges and 14 tunnels. The construction site train is inspired by this work for the DB AG.
