The RWE factory locomotive is a continuation of the BRAWA Köf special
edition.
At the end of the 70s, DB began to take the Köf II out of service. Thanks to
its good performance and consumption values, units which were still in good
condition were used as factory locomotives at industrial companies. The energy
provider RWE uses one of these locomotives for the shunting service on its
grounds.
