Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class E10.12 electric locomotive "Bugelfalte" / "Pants Crease". Cobalt blue / beige basic paint scheme, as a Rheingold locomotive. Version with 5 lamps on the ends, continuous ventilation bands with rounded ends, continuous rain gutters and buffer cladding and skirting. Locomotive road number E10 1309. The locomotive looks as it did around 1963.

Model: This is the first time for this edition with a metal body in a retro version. The locomotive has an mfx digital decoder. It also has controlled high efficiency propulsion. 2 axles powered in one truck. Traction tires. There are triple headlights that change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The locomotive body and frame are constructed of metal. There are RELEX couplers at both ends of the locomotive. The packaging has a colored representation of the locomotive based on the historic packaging of the Sixties. Length over the buffers 18 cm / 7-1/16".
