Fall 2005: Herpa releases the „Monument Train" as a complete motorail set in the 1/160 scale.

Actually a technical and esthetical goodie for our model railroad fans. The Taurus locomotive carries the promotional design of the legendary „Monument Truck", which stood at the beginning of Walter Rosner‘s lavishly designed Herpa Promotion Truck series. By courtesy of the truck artist, the locomotive and the vehicles may now be produced as N-scale models by Herpa, as a one-time limited edition. The locomotive and the pocket wagons have been produced by Märklin/Trix, while Herpa produced the five airbrush promotion trucks in the 1/160 scale.

Märklin and Herpa technology, plus the fantastic design created by airbrush artist Walter Rosner, have made this train a most conspicuous highlight, both on the railroad diorama and in the glass cabinet. Herpa‘s 1/160-scale „Monument Train" comes as a limited edition of 750 sets, and will become available in hobby and toy shops that carry Herpa models around the globe.
